Hi, I'm Marta Pujol
Founder of Adara Essence
I started out in beauty working at different spas in the area, but at just 16 I was already seeing my first clients at home. Little by little I converted a room, because more and more women kept coming.
When demand grew, I left my job at just 19 and decided to go all in on my own project.
I looked at premises, but none of them felt like home. So in 2020 I renovated the ground floor of the family farmhouse, and that's where Adara Essence was born.
I chose the name because I didn't want the centre to carry only my name, but something that represented what I felt. Adara means "beauty", and that is what I wanted to convey: real beauty, cared for and with essence.
We opened on 20 September 2020 and, barely a month later, the pandemic forced us to close. It was the first big test. But when we reopened, the support was huge. The centre grew, was extended twice more and, on 4 February 2024, in the space I had always imagined, we finally celebrated our grand reopening.
Our mission
At Adara we believe beauty is not only about looking good but about feeling good. Our mission is to care for every person with honesty, calm and respect, creating a space where they can let their guard down, stop, and feel truly looked after.
Our vision
We don't dream of being the biggest. We dream of doing things well and growing without losing our essence. We want to be a reference for the way we care: with method, with humanity, and knowing that beauty starts long before the skin.
